Yanmar 27210-200300 Engine Zinc Anode, M8 (Genuine OEM)

Description

The Yanmar 27210-200300 is the genuine OEM engine zinc pencil anode for the Yanmar GM, HM, QM, YSB and YSM engine ranges, with an M8 thread.

Why it matters

The zinc sacrificial anode corrodes in place of the metal it protects. Once it is more than about half wasted it should be replaced before the engine or drive metal starts to corrode instead.

Fitting

Check the anode regularly and replace it once it is more than about half wasted. This is an internal anode protecting cooling passages you cannot see, so do not skip it.
