The Yanmar 128270-12540 is a genuine OEM air cleaner element for the popular Yanmar 1GM, 2GM, 3GM, 2YM and 3YM series marine diesels.
Why it matters
The air cleaner element keeps airborne grit and salt mist out of the cylinders so the bores and rings are not worn prematurely.
Supersession
This part replaces the earlier 128377-12530. If your manual or a previous invoice lists that, this is the current replacement.
Fitting
Replace at the interval in your operator’s manual, and more often in dusty or salty conditions.
