Description
The Yanmar 119574-18790 is a genuine OEM zinc anode (type E-2) for Yanmar 4LHA, 6LP and 6LY series marine diesel engines.
Why it matters
The zinc sacrificial anode corrodes in place of the metal it protects. Once it is more than about half wasted it should be replaced before the engine or drive metal starts to corrode instead.

Check regularly and replace once more than about half wasted.
